Television host Jacqueline Felgate revealed that she recently tested positive for COVID-19.
The 7NEWS vaccinated with double dose and the sports presenter made the announcement on Instagram, saying that it happened during the holiday period.
“It was nice to be back at work this weekend,” he wrote.
“While answering all your questions, I also tested positive for COVID over the holidays.
“I am fully recovered and very grateful for the wonderful support from Alfred Hospital (a doctor or nurse calls every day and you fill out a health questionnaire too).”
Ms. Felgate also thanked friends who helped her family during their period of isolation.
He also expressed frustration at the vaccine launch delays, which meant he was only eligible for his booster this week.
“Of course, I am twice vaccinated with AZ, but due to the delay of those under 40, I was not supposed to receive my booster until this week,” he said.
“That’s why I had so much time to answer all your questions about test sites and rapid tests.”
Ms Felgate shared two photos with her post – one was her return to work and the other showed an unfiltered image of her on a COVID-19 test line.
Victoria recorded 8,577 new cases and three deaths on Monday.
