New love: Abbie debuted her new relationship with one of Brooke’s suitors, Konrad, before the November finale of Bachelorette. The indigenous reality TV star unfollowed Abbie in response to the news
In a lengthy Instagram post at the time, Abbie explained her decision to go public with Konrad, claiming that she believed she had Brooke’s blessing.
Brooke and I had a conversation where I apologized and expressed regret several times over our public affection, as this was before Konrad’s departure from the show. Konrad had a similar conversation with Brooke.
We absolutely should have waited to go private as we are public figures and these are things we need to consider, but we didn’t. We also do not consider the possible ramifications of our actions.
“Immediately after this, we intentionally kept things quiet and did not leave the house together in an effort not to be photographed out of respect for the show and to minimize the press surrounding the Konrad exit spoiler.”

She just ended the post: ‘Sorry’.

“I reached out to this person to resolve this ‘conflict’ that, in fact, my classic naive, adult self, I went to this person to openly communicate about the layers of complexity that this person’s actions show and take away from me NOT just me, but what it meant to a queer woman of color,” she added.
She finished: ‘You asked for my comment. There is. Now go ahead and give them more airtime, which is exactly what it’s all about.
