Armie Hammer now broke and selling timeshares from cubicle: Report

Eighteen months on from his career-ending scandal, actor Armie Hammer is reportedly “totally broke” and selling timeshare to tourists.

Actor Armie Hammer, whose career suffered a downfall amid abuse allegations, is reportedly “totally broke” and selling timeshare properties from an office cubicle.

The new claims, published in Varietycome after Hammer’s representatives last week denied that he was working as a hotel bellhop, explaining the mix-up was simply due to Hammer’s friends pranking him.

Variety quotes a source who claims Hammer is currently selling timeshares at a hotel in the Cayman Islands, where he has been based for the past few years.

“He is working at the resort and selling timeshares. He is working at a cubicle,” the source said. “The reality is he’s totally broke, and he is trying to fill the days and earn money to support his family from him.”

Hammer was initially spotted outside the timeshare sales office in late June after reports he was working there.

A photo shows the actor clad in a blue polo shirt while he worked in the office – and onlookers reported that he was sitting with a couple and going over pricing for a unit.

Holidaymakers were reportedly lured to visit the timeshare office via a flyer promising discounts for excursions around the Cayman Islands.

The source also said that Hammer, who is living in the Caymans to be closer to his ex-wife Elizabeth Chalmers and their two children, was previously working as the manager of an apartment complex.

Claims the actor is “totally broke” would come as a surprise given his multimillion-dollar Hollywood career – and the fact that his great-grandfather was oil tycoon Armand Hammer, with the family’s fortune estimated in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

the Call Me By Your Name star suffered a spectacular fall from public grace early last year when various women, including exes Courtney Vucekovich and Paige Lorenze, came forward with claims of emotional and sexual abuse. Screenshots of messages from women appearing to depict Hammer as having cannibalistic fetishes also emerged on social media.

One woman accused Hammer of rape, which led to an LAPD investigation that has since concluded with no charges pressed.

Hammer, who was married at the time of many of the alleged incidents, has strenuously denied all accusations, claiming any interactions with any women were consensual.

But the fallout for the actor was swift.

Hammer was sacked from his agency, WME, and subsequently fired from a number of projects including Jennifer Lopez’s Shotgun Weddingthriller Billion Dollar Spybroadway plays The Minutes and Paramount Plus series The Offer.

He was however recently seen in the box office hit Death On The Nilewhich was filmed before the scandal broke and made around $200 million worldwide at the box office.

In June 2021, it was reported the star had checked into a treatment center for drug, alcohol and sex issues. I have left the facility in December last year.
