OLANTA – Spring has arrived, which means Woods Bay State Park is waking up from its winter slumber to the sound of birds singing.
Wish you knew how to identify which type of bird is singing? Join a ranger on the boardwalk at Woods Bay to learn how to ID bird songs using the BirdNET app.
This beginner program begins at the park’s Education Center at 10 am March 26 and will last one hour. Registration is required. To register, fill out the online registration form: https://bit.ly/3qniD49.
Wear comfortable walking shoes, and dress for the weather. Bring bug repellent and drinking water, and make sure to download the BirdNET app onto your smartphone before arriving.
