I have to thank God and Chad and all of his crew for this opportunity. They did an amazing job with this filly. I knew she had to prove herself today against these kind of horses but I was convinced she could do it I saw that green light in the stretch and she just took off, and the rest is up to to the story.

The rhythm was given by moonlight katama , who led by fractions of :23.44, :48.03 and 1:11.92 with Lady Speightspeare applying pressure from second. Lady Speightspeare settled for second place, three quarters of a length ahead Stunning princess who finished third throughout.

Wilson, who also sailed Lady Speightspeare to a second-place finish in the Endeavor for the same connections, was aboard Shirl’s Speight for the Tampa Bay win.

And our filly, (Lady Speightspeare), rode very well for everything she went through, so it was a good day. I really thought that (Get Smokin ) was the horse to beat.”
