Bob Saget’s widow, Kelly Rizzo, speaks for the first time since the actor’s death: “Trying not to think that my time was stolen”

Bob Saget’Kelly Rizzo’s widow has spoken for the first time since the actor’s death in a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.

“My sweet husband. After much reflection this week, I am trying, really trying, not to think that my time was stolen. Instead, I think: How lucky I was to be the only one to be married to THE MOST ONE MAN AMAZING ON EARTH,” Rizzo captioned a photo of her with the Full house star, who died at age 65 on January 9.

“I was the one who had to go on this crazy ride with him and be in his life these past 6 years. We had that time to make each other the happiest we’ve ever been and change each other’s lives forever.”

“I gotta be the one to love him and appreciate him. He deserves all the love. Every ounce of it. Because that’s how amazing Bob was. It was love. If you were in his life, you KNEW he loved you. He never missed an opportunity to tell you.” “.

Saget was found unconscious by a security guard in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida, on January 9.

The actor and comedian was best known for playing America’s beloved father of television, Danny Tanner, on Full house until 1995, before reprising the role for the reboot most complete house in 2016.

Rizzo married Saget in October 2018 and says she has “no regrets” about their time together, writing, “We loved each other so much and told each other 500 times a day. Constantly. I know how much she loved me to the very last moment and he knew the same thing. I’m very grateful for that. Not everyone understands that.”

The post follows Saget’s funeral, which took place on Friday. and was attended by hundreds of friends and family of the actor. Many Full house Co-stars attended, including John Stamos, who was one of the pallbearers, Lori Loughlin, and Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Rizzo called her late husband a “force,” adding, “I’m sure each of you, whether you knew him or not, were in awe of the enormous outpouring of love and tribute for this special man. It was like nothing anyone have ever seen.

“I am so grateful for the kindness and support of loved ones and strangers. They all love Bob and they all want to make sure I’m okay. And for that, I’ll be eternally grateful.”

“Bob had so much more he wanted to do and so much more love to give. And to the best of my ability, my mission will be to share how amazing he was with the world, and to try, in some small way, to continue to spread his message of love and laughs. (No, you’ll never see me do stand-up),” Rizzo continued.

“I also want to continue to share how important the Scleroderma Research Foundation was to him. I just want to make him proud. And his daughters, I will love all of you with all my heart, always. Honey, I love you more than anything.” , Forever.”

Saget is survived by his wife and children Aubrey, Jennifer Belle and Lara Melanie Saget.
