The contestants were shocked to learn who was the first to be eliminated in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! after being rocked by a pretty gross moment earlier.
It was a night of firsts for the I’m A Celebrity contestants… Get me out of here!
First, they split into two separate teams; red and blue, or the “naughty blues” against the “crimson ninjas” to fight for the opportunity to enjoy a delicious barbecue.
They were also warned that they would face a “mass eviction” on the Sunday night show, with the first elimination of the season.
But there was also a pretty nasty moment on the Channel 10 reality series, involving smelly underwear, that took everyone by surprise.
Among the stars of the program are kitchen master favorite Poh Ling Yeow, TV and radio star Dylan Lewis, AFL legend and former coach Nathan Buckley and retired NRL player Beau Ryan, comedian Cal Wilson, MAFS star Davina Rankin, legend of AFL Derek Kickett, country music singer Brooke McClymont and Olympic swimmer Emily Seebohm and El David.
Tonight, the three stars facing the possibility of elimination after failing the show’s scarf-measuring challenge were Maria, David and Davina, who then had to get their hands on a rat box and guess the number to have a chance to stay. .
The loser of the challenge, interloper Davina, was kicked off the show.
“I was having an amazing time and I will miss people… but a warm shower will go down well,” Davina said after her elimination.
“The people here and the experience have been amazing and I’m so glad I did.”
She said she wants Dylan or Nathan to win.
There was a weird moment earlier on Sunday’s show when Joey Essex offered up his underwear for his fellow contestants to sniff.
He said: “Dude, honestly, smell these pants. You smell these pants. Trust me, it’s gorgeous.”
When questioned by the other puzzled contestants: “Are they nice? No. Is it the ass? he insisted “no, I’m serious, smell my pants”.
More questions followed: “Does it smell like… is it Joey’s ball smell? I don’t want the smell of the ball.”
Joey insisted: “No, no, no, no.”
After receiving more doubts and questions about the cleanliness issue, Joey clarified that they were new briefs that had never been worn before.
His suddenly more willing teammates agreed that they smelled delicious. Joey said, “Well, right? Everybody was smelling my pants, man. It just smelled like something special.
Poh watched from the sidelines and simply said, “What’s going on?”
Meanwhile, the show’s first challenge involved the contestants trying to stop a giant ball from flying over them, and Joey was the first and only one to pull it off, eventually winning the challenge for his blue team.
However, he fell into the water after posing next to the ball and gloating, but downplayed the trip insisting he “liked it”.
Then Dylan couldn’t stop the ball, then other members of the blue and red team decided to jump out of the way to avoid the ball.
Also on Sunday’s episode, Maria confessed to Joey that she likes him and wants to be able to enjoy their time together.
