Jess Eva explains braless ‘wardrobe malfunction’ photo

Radio presenter Jess Eva has responded to a social media stir she inadvertently caused when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction in a photo posted to the Triple M Breakfast Instagram account yesterday.

The photo showed Eva posing with co-host Mark “MG” Geyer and guests boxer Tim Tszyu and promoter George Rose in the studio – but as dozens of commenters across Facebook and Instagram were quick to point out, her braless figure was pulling a fair bit of focus.

A day later, and a good-natured Eva addressed the awkward photo live on Triple M Breakfast with MG, Jess and Pagey today.

“I didn’t realize you could see my nipples. You couldn’t see the colour, just the shape. I looked at it when it went up online and said, ‘Oh my god, why didn’t you tell me?’” she asked her co-hosts.

MG insisted he hadn’t even noticed, while Pagey – who dubbed his co-host “Twin Peaks” – told her he had noticed, “but it’s 2022 and we’re in a workplace … I don’t know what you can say anymore. I just thought you knew… I thought it was a look you were going for.”

Then MG read out a selection of the top comments underneath the photo:

“Should’ve got the Bra Boys in.”

“You might need to turn the air conditioner off before someone loses an eye.”

“Who cares if you can see her nipples? She works in radio, not TV.”

Eva noted that there were also “a lot of men angry that I didn’t iron my outfit.”

MG said that some of the comments had crossed the line from cheeky to cruel, and encouraged his co-host not to pay attention to any negativity.

“You are you, and please never change. Don’t read comments – we love you and your family loves you, and that’s all that counts,” he told her.

but former The Block and I’m A Celeb contestant Eva proved she was taking it all in her stride.

“The thing is, I’m 38. I’ve had two kids. If I wanted to lure someone into my seductive wealth, I’m not using my boobs to do it. It’s not my best feature!” she said with a laugh.

“To anyone who thought it was inappropriate … my nipples haven’t grown since I was 12. They’re not confronting, they’re not intimidating.”

Dubbing herself “Saddlebags Eva,” Jess ended with a shout-out to her favorite commenter, who wrote that she had “’nipples like wharfie’s thumbs.’ Mmm… I quite like that.”
