Never underestimate Dolce & Gabbana when it comes to making a splash with it star-studded fashion shows.
And on Saturday the Italian luxury fashion house didn’t disappoint when it held its D&G Alta Moda fashion show outdoors at Piazza Duomo, in front of the Syracuse Cathedral, in Siracusa, Sicily.
Mariah Carey, Sharon Stone and Helen Mirren were among the audience who sat back and soaked in the new women’s collection as models strutted along the catwalk that included steps of a staircase.

And while the legendary singer and two movie stars weren’t walking in the show, it didn’t take long before they became one of the star attractions.
In fact, after the dozens of models did their thing in the various eye-catching ensembles and the show ended, Carey, Stone and Mirren posed for photos.
In video captured by Vogue Italy, Carey, 53, Stone, 64, and Mirren, 76, can be seen chatting and laughing together amid the flashing lights of the cameras.
Likely all wearing looks from Dolce & Gabbana, the three women all wore bright colored gowns that gorgeously featured various shades of gold.

At one point, Drew Barrymore jumped into the mix for a series of snaps with the three ladies.
Carey also made a point of dropping a pose or two on that staircase with the hosts of the event: Stefano Gabbana. and Domenico Dolce.
Vogue Italia also shared a series of snaps of the ladies snuggled up together for the admiring fans and photographers.

While the fashion rolled out its new women’s collection, the event also served as the 10 year celebration of Alta Moda.
Inspired by Giovanni Battista Giorgini’s efforts to promote Italian fashion and made in Italy brands abroad, the Alta Moda branch was launched in 2012.
Over the years, the concept behind the project’s idea of couture was to pay a tribute to the Italian domestic artisanship in all its expressions and to its tailoring tradition
The Dolce & Gabbana brand was founded back in 1985, and by the end of the 1990s revenues were said to be around $500 million. which reached $633 million by 2003.
