A new store selling a wide range of treats just for dogs has opened at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet East Midlands.
The Barkery, by Frenchie Frenchie, has brought its luxury treats, dog shampoos, clothing, and toys to the South Normanton-based shopping complex.
The brand, which was founded in nearby Mansfield, welcomed its first customers and their dogs to its ninth branch nationwide on Friday, March 4.
The dog-friendly store, located near the car park at the designer outlet, stocks treats including pupcorn, WUFFles and WOOFnuts, a dipped doggy donut which comes in 12 different varieties.

David Jackson, center manager at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet East Midlands, said: “We are proud to be a dog-friendly centre, thus delighted to welcome The Barkery as the latest brand to McArthurGlen Designer Outlet East Midlands.
“This launch is just another way we are able to give visitors to center the chance to enjoy a relaxing day out with their four legged friend in tow.
“The Barkery has a great selection of treats, accessories, clothes and even beauty range of shampoos and scents to treat your dog while you enjoy retail therapy of your own.

Owners Arran Giles and his partner Liam have been opening the kiosk outlets over the last year on the back of the success of their dog café Frenchie Frenchie, which opened in Mansfield, not far from East Midlands Designer Outlet in November, 2019.

A spokesperson for the designer outlet added: “Designer Outlet, East Midlands is pleased to welcome all dog owners & assistance-guide dogs to our centre. With a number of our stores being dog friendly, including The Barkery.
“Whilst visiting our centre, we also have a couple of water fountains located on either side of our malls for your dog to get a quick drink on us!”
