Nicole Kidman closes ‘sexist’ question about marriage to Tom Cruise

Nicole Kidman called a reporter for a “sexist” comment about her previous relationship with Tom Cruise, 20 years after her marriage ended.

The actress, who was promoting her next movie, Being Los Ricardos, He felt that the same question would not be asked of a man in his position.

The 54-year-old man was interviewed by The Guardian about his next movie Being the ricardos depicting the marriage between television icons Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.

The Oscar winner was asked if the marriage in the film was her way of expressing her previous relationship with 59-year-old Tom Cruise, whom she split in 2001.

“Oh my gosh, no, no. Absolutely not, ”she replied. “No. I mean, that’s, honestly, it’s been so long since it’s been in this equation. So no.”

“And I would also ask that they not pigeonhole me that way,” Nicole said.

“It seems almost sexist to me because I’m not sure someone would say that to a man. And at some point you say: ‘Give me my life’. In her own right, ‘”the actress said, clearly irritated by the question.

The inquiry was a follow-up to Nicole’s response regarding the relationship between Lucille and Desi, who worked together on the production of the classic television series. I love lucy.

“This is a creative and romantic relationship that doesn’t work out,” Nicole said of her new film.

“But that’s where some extraordinary things come from. And I love that. I love that it’s not a happy ending.

“This movie says you can thrive an extraordinary relationship and leave remnants of it that exist forever,” he added.

The couple adopted two children, their daughter Isabella, now 29, and their son, Connor, 26.

Nicole also reacted to a question about her fame, wondering why people are “so interested in the famous.”
