“Peacemaker” Credits, Reviews, Talk S2

Max HBO

James Gunn’s “Peacemaker” series debuted on HBO Max and the most talked about element of the first few episodes released has been the stellar opening credits sequence.

Set to Norwegian glam metal band Wig Wam’s 2010 single “Do You Wanna Taste It,” the dance number is pure joy and can be seen below.

The filmmaker, who is still in the early stages of filming the third “Guardians,” recently confirmed to THR that he wants to do a second season of the series, but sometime after a break. Gunn shot “The Suicide Squad,” “Peacemaker: Season 1” and the third “Guardians” almost back to back.

Meanwhile, the show’s first season garnered pretty strong reviews, scoring a 69/100 on Metacritic. That’s a strong number compared to other high-profile recent releases like “1883” (69), “Hawkeye” (66), “MacGruber” (62), “The Book of Boba Fett” (59), “The Wheel of Time” (55) and “And so” (55).

“Peacemaker” will continue to air episodes weekly on HBO Max.
