“South Park” duet with Kendrick Lamarr


Paramount Pictures has announced plans for an untitled live-action comedy coming from the production team of “South Park” creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker along with musician Kendrick Lamar.

Frequent “South Park” writer-producer Vernon Chatman wrote the film that follows a young black man who interns as a slave re-enactor at a living history museum. He soon discovers that his white girlfriend’s ancestors once owned his.

Paramount will handle theatrical distribution, home entertainment and television licensing rights, and the film will be broadcast exclusively on the Paramount+ service.

Production is scheduled to begin in the spring, but there is currently no cast or director attached.
