Tammin Sursok reveals horrific conditions in wrecked Airbnb rental: Her family flees overnight to hotel from ‘haunted’ property










Tammin Sursok has detailed her horrific stay at a dilapidated Airbnb rental property.

The actress and her two children arrived at the Melbourne abode in the evening after driving 17 hours from Queensland on a family road trip, only to find the house in ruins.

The 38-year-old shared a series of Instagram Stories on Saturday, picturing the house dirty and damaged.

“We just walked into our Airbnb and it’s a complete mess. It’s nine o’clock at night,’ the Pretty Little Liars star said in a video clip.

‘I’m scared, I don’t like it. It’s haunted,” complained Phoenix, the star’s daughter, while Tammin tried to calm her down by saying, “You don’t have to be afraid. It’s not haunted.’

Tammin went on to tell her fans that this had “never happened to her” before and that in the past, Airbnb had been “amazing.”

The former Home and Away star later shared a video of the hotel the family had fled to in the night and explained that they had given her a full refund.

‘What an as**tshow,’ he said from his bed the next morning. ‘Airbnb refunded everything, which they should have done. Thank God.’

‘I’ve never had that experience, I’ve never had to be reimbursed for a place I’ve stayed because usually everything is great. But it was a disaster. When you walked in, it reeked of black mold. So that’s over,” he added.

Tammin finally found a new property to stay in, with a bathtub for her children, after some further trouble with a hostile tenant.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Airbnb for comment.

Tammin, who spent years in Los Angeles, is currently in Australia for work and chose to drive from Queensland to her new job on the soap opera Neighbours, rather than fly due to the rising number of covid cases.

She and her husband, film producer Sean McEwen, 45, have two daughters, Phoenix, eight, and Lennon, two.
